The more adventuresome visitor might choose the extreme and decide to climb to the summit of one of the numerous peaks in the area that reach over 12,000 feet. Hiking, fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and rafting are also choices that are a little less strenuous but still kick up the heart rate. Golf, wildlife viewing, relaxing in a spa, shopping, and amusement park options may be more appealing to many.

Moose are being sited in and around Estes Park more and more frequently each year. Some visitors have been lucky enough to spot a cow and her calf this week as they wonder around town which is very exciting.
